JFM MAKES A STRATEGIC APPOINTMENT IN THE MIDLANDS

JFM has once again proved that experience and reputation is essential in these difficult times, by introducing a Senior Business Director to a West Country practice who are opening in Birmingham.
The appointment is seen as one of a number for the company in the coming months - who are bucking the trend in terms of their expansion plans.

Fiona Razak commented, `Our experience is that quite a number of the SME`s certainly seem to being throwing more caution to the wind and as their overheads are considerably less than their larger consultancy counterparts, so many of them seem to be able to continue making these key hires`. She also added, `August has been relatively buoyant for us and the indications are that September will see a definite increase in requirements, with a large number of clients indicating this.`

JFM is confident that the market will continue to grow, albeit slowly, but that the worse is probably behind us.

JFM RAISES MONEY FOR COMIC RELIEF

JFM has raised over two hundred and fifty pounds for Comic Relief this year by supporting their local panto.
Senior Partner Fiona Razak played her own part in the pantomime - which was entitled `Oltonia`.
The play told the story of a local developer wanting to knock all of the houses down to build a trendy winespot around Olton. The play was conceived, written and directed by Katie Newbon. Katie has written a number of plays over the years and was able to gather a cast of almost entire novices, who all received a raputurous response over two nights.

Whilst monies are still being collected it looks as if early indications are that there has been over £1500.00 raised.

There are plans in place for a Christmas panto following the success of this first dalliance for many and it seems the 20 strong cast will be ready to tread the boards once more - again with a charity in mind for all of the proceeds raised.

Fiona Razak commented, `It was an absolute pleasure to have been involved and although I played a rather stern German Secretary to the nasty Barron Grabbalot, it was great fun.` She added, `We had been rehearsing since November 2008 and our comittment was evident when we opened the panto on Friday March 13th.`

Everybody involved was hugely grateful for the experience and the panto received some brilliant reviews.
