Title: Principal/Senior Asset Management Consultant
Description: Principal/Senior Asset Management Consultant cú40 - 50k plus benefits Midlands/South East Our client is a world leader in the field of transportation offering a host of services to the UK and internationally from design and project management to research and development. To help drive this growth forward, the division is seeking to appoint a Principal or Senior Asset Management Consultant who can lead the delivery of the technical aspects of their work in the sector and develop the technical staff around them. The role itself will centre around the:- " development, management and delivery of projects in the UK and overseas " leadership and submission of proposals for work; and " working closely with the groups partners and clients to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction This is a key role for an experienced professional working within the highways asset management sector, either in research or consultancy. The work will involve the delivery of research and consultancy projects for customers such as the Highways Agency, Transport Scotland, local authorities and private sector organisations. International project work could also be required in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. In more detail the position involves:- " Leading and contributing to the technical delivery of asset management implementation projects to client satisfaction and the groups profit margins " Undertaking planned stakeholder needs analyses, data collection and complex data analysis to deliver client needs " Managing staff within projects and contributing to staff and team development planning " Leading on the writing of reports to company standards and client satisfaction " Managing project work in accordance with the groups Quality Management System " Undertaking short-term work assignments in client's / partners' offices in the UK and overseas " Managing tender submissions and leading / contributing to proposal writing " Proactively seek business opportunities and participain planned business development events " Developing positive relationships with partners and clients It is hoped that you will be a graduate in a science or transport/engineering discpline and have a minimum of 8 years' experience delivering asset management research and consultancy services in the road / rail sectors. You will be familar with development, use and implementation of asset management systems and have used net projgramming languages although this is not essential.
