Title: Engineering Director
Description: Engineering Director (Rail) c£85 - 100k plus benefits Reading Our client is a global presence across the built and natural environment providing engineering solutions to a host of clients. As their work remit, particularly within rail expands they are seeking a talented Rail professional who will be responsible for assisting in growing the business across the UK. In more detail the role will involve providing the technical link between the project and the disciplines in the office. Your role as the Project Management and Engineering Interface lead will involve the use of tools which ensure that all parties have an agreed understanding of the project and their part within it (Bid Strategy, Interactive Planning, Design Input Statement, Inter-office Work Agreements, and output from Client Expectation Surveys, Client Satisfactions Surveys, and (where appropriate) feedback against Network Railís KPIs). You will maintain a master delivery schedule to focus delivery in the office, address resource allocation. On a day-to-day basis, be aware of delivery commitments for resources, and the issues which could adversely impact on project delivery, then take action to address it by informing the PMs. There is responsibility for providing engineering input into PQQs, bids and acting as a lead in business development.
