Title: Temporary Works Design Engineer
Description: Design Engineer (Temporary Works) Warwickshire 40k Unique opportunity to join a successful design and build organization with a far reaching client base across the UK and beyond are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Designer to join their expanding Midlands team. For your part you will be involved in specialist design of temporary works including feasibility, design, and analysis of projects at both pre-contract and contract stages. You will provide in-house dedicated support on temporary works designs for national schemes and work with and advise designers through the design phase to review the initial scope of works and produce advice as to the constructability and sequencing of the temporary works including method statements. Additionally prepare statements identifying critical stages for site review and, where required, sampling/testing of temporary works. Involvement in temporary works designs covering cofferdams, access platforms and lifting equipment. There will be a need to undertake site audits for procurement of temporary works against the company procedures and prepare audit reports. You will be a graduate in civil or structural engineering with a strong background in temporary works design and the use of AutoCAD, Superstress and Wallap. It is essential that you will be a good communicator and work to deadlines as well as support other members of your team.
