Description: SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR/COMMERCIAL MANAGER Birmingham £55,000 plus large company benefits Excellent opening for an experienced Surveyor or Commercial Manager to join a significant organisation who work across the built environment on a vast range of schemes. The organisation offers a partnering service to deliver buildings, industrial plants and healthcare facilities or major rail, aviation and highways projects. The company are consulted by investors who want to better understand their risks as part of technical due diligence, business transformation processes, and project risk and contingency management. The role offers a great opportunity for a quantity surveyor or commercial manager, with a strong track record in project delivery, to join a vastly experienced team of Surveyors and Managers who have a great knowledge of the industry. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the teamís cost management work in support of engagements for both public and private sector clients in the UK and abroad for a variety of clients. The post-holder will be expected to lead the service provision on particular commissions and manage project delivery. This will involve overseeing small groups of colleagues and direct client interface. The post-holder will also be expected to play an active role in business development, engaging with existing and potential new clients in the development and conversion of new business opportunities. You will be involved in project managing client assignments and preparing and pricing bids for new business client relationship management and development and the day-to-day management and team engagement. It is hoped that you will be an experienced MRICS Surveyor with the ability to win new projects and be a seasoned professional in the industry.
