Title: Architect - Process Sector
Description: Architect - Process Industry £50k plus benefits West Midlands Our client a major multi-disciplinary consultancy with a worldwide presence are continuing to expand their design groups, particularly in the process sectors. Key to their current expansion plans is a role for a Process Architect, who will provide technical design input and architectural layout expertise for equipment and space management in the pharmaceutical, bio-pharmaceutical, and other process related industries. For your part you will be involved in providing a full range of professional architectural activities requiring a high degree of technical judgment and resourcefulness in the planning; design and construction of projects in terms of equipment, functional requirements, room layout and facility costs. You will play an integral part in reviewing and evaluating customerís production needs and ensuring clients are well looked after. You will have a good knowledge of the layouts and flow management issues particularly in Pharmaceutical and Bio-pharmaceutical environments including laboratories, Vivarium Facilities, Secondary Pharmaceutical Facilities, sterile fill/finish/packaging and warehousing facilities. In more detail the role will involve site master planning general layout input and management as well as feasibility, scheme and detail design stage drawing creation and management. The co-ordination of a design to ensure good interface with all other disciplines, as well as value engineering input for clean rooms, clean room finishes, integration with other disciplines, and equipment.
