Title: Principal Electrical Engineer
Description: Principal Electrical Engineer London 60,000 Outstanding practice of Engineers and Planners are seeking to develop further their building services capability in either the London or Birmingham offices. They have created a Principal Electrical Engineer`s role to provide design leadership and discipline integration of projects delivered by the built Environment business. Tasked with effectively using your technical experience and excellent people skills, you will manage projects and guide / mentor less experienced engineers to produce designs and associated deliverables for projects. You will be responsible for providing a client facing lead for projects and ensure levels of service and quality. As a member of the regional multi-disciplinary design team, a Principal Engineer plays a crucial role in the delivery of technical solutions, acting in support of the Team Principal, balancing commercial, technical and mentoring responsibilities. You will be responsible for the delivery of technical outputs of projects and the seamless sharing of information with other discipline teams. You will also ensure technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous improvement processes as well as develop relationships for the company whilst liaising with clients, architects and other design team members, Our client take on a wide range of projects so your remit will also involve assisting in the technical and commercial bid proposals and mentoring the other team members as well as working closely with offices across the UK and Europe. It is expected that you will be a Chartered Engineer with experience of leading a team of building services engineers. You will have the ability to design the range of building electrical services as well as being familiar with British standards and a proven ability of working well with clients.
