Description: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR/TECHNICAL DIRECTOR (Building Structures) 70,000 Birmingham An excellent role has arisen with this fast expanding consultancy who work across the UK and Europe. Their services span a wide range of engineering and project management covering aviation, buildings, energy, industry, infrastructure, maritime, mining, transport, urban and rural planning, and water. Their clients include a host of public and private sectors organisations who provide an enviable workload. As a company they deliver engineering and environmental solutions, whilst meeting client`s challenges and with their wealth of experience are quite unique in their offering. The position is based in Central Birmingham and is a newly created one for the group within their Civil & Structural division. The position is seen as key to the group and will involve taking a lead on major projects and helping develop their business further, so a good local knowledge will be seen as essential, as will your links with Architects and Developers. You will be leading bids and proposals and managing key projects as well as acting as a mentor to the division and supporting all in the challenges ahead. Their workload covers a wide variety of educational, commercial and industrial schemes across the region and beyond and effectively delivering key projects to clients is essential. It is expected that you will be a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with experience of managing and developing teams. Additionally possess a sound commercial awareness and be an excellent communicator and business developer.
