Excellent prospect to join one of the country`s leading independent multidisciplinary consultancies with a strong presence in the Midlands.
This role is seen as key and will involve managing the key internal and external environmental interface relationships and associated products to ensure consistency of approach and quality. Acting as the link between Environment Teams helping deliver the environmental assessment work (including associated assessments) developed for the hybrid Bill for the project in accordance with programme, organisational, sponsor and parliamentary requirements.
For your part you will support the Central Environment Teamís route-wide environmental assessment requirements and deliverables by facilitating and supporting close working between Environment Teams (and in particular Area Teams) to ensure consistency of approach and quality.
Additionally be responsible for developing and monitoring the integrated environmental programme that ensures timely and efficient delivery of environmental inputs and outputs across the different interface points.
There will be the close management of stakeholder teams as well as the management of the programme and ensuring milestones are met and that support is given to the route-wide environmental risk register.
You will be nearing Chartership having graduated in a relevant environmental specialism with experience of working on environmental assessment (EIA) and design on large or complex infrastructure/ engineering projects. Additionally experience of project management within a built environmental field as well as the ability to develop strategies and of working to tight deadlines.
