Title: Air Quality Consultant
Description: Air Quality Consultant 40k plus benefits Manchester/London Leading multidisciplinary practice with a remarkable range of work across the country are seeking to develop further their air quality team with this key appointment. They have been awarded numerous awards in recent years for their work and their staff training and nurturing, which regularly sees them being featured in the top companies to work with. The role calls for an individual who will be expected to lead or contribute to a wide range of development projects which will include taking responsibility for financial performance and commercial management. You will work across the country and ideally possess at least seven years of proven experience in environmental air quality and odour consultancy. It is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate a broad range of skills by undertaking specialist technical work, whilst working as part of an integrated, progressive environmental team. Your involvement will include all stages in the planning cycle from feasibility through to master planning and the discharge of conditions. The company also provide strategic advice and asset management services, and offer clever solutions to some challenging air quality and odour issues. For your part you possess excellent communication skills with a proactive approach with drive, positivity and enthusiasm and a strong desire to succeed as well as being technically very strong. Ideally you will have graduated in an air quality related discipline or equivalent. Full membership of the Institute of Air Quality Management is required and Chartered Scientist or Chartered Environmentalist status is highly desirable. Experience across the EIA process, project management, a good understanding of the planning process and experience of using air quality modelling packages such as ADMS-Roads, AERMOD and ADMS 5 are essential and proficiency in using GIS and AutoCAD.
