Title: Architectural Technician
Description: Architectural Technician Warwickshire 30,000 plus exceptional benefits This international firm of Engineers and Project Managers are currently seeking a recruit a number of experienced Technicians to join their successful Architectural teams across the country, particularly in Warwickshire and London. For your part you will be responsible for generating high quality, accurate and detailed design packages for the architectural project documentation, working within a multi-disciplinary design team. Essentially you will provide appropriate levels of architectural design to a range of different building types and materials and form time to time supervise junior CAD staff members You will be involved in the production of schematic, general arrangement and detailed drawings in accordance with the relevant standards and procedures and ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating CAD drawings to internal and/or customer standards. Working closely with other members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient and buildable solutions. Additionally provide technical mentoring to junior members of the CAD team whilst ensuring thorough checking and accuracy of both your work and the work of junior CAD staff under your supervision, in accordance with company QA procedures. You will in some cases be responsible for the registering and document control of incoming information and outgoing deliverables. Additionally developing positive relationships with clients and ensuring work is delivered effectively. It is expected that you will keep to date with design trends/ design techniques (BIM etc.) as well as attend CAD courses and be looking to further your education with the support of the company. You will have a working knowledge of Autodesk REVIT as well as an appreciation of 3D software and Microstation and experience in some of the following market sectors industrial, manufacturing and energy, life sciences and chemicals, transport (rail and aviation), infrastructure and utilities, public sector, nuclear.
