Estimator – Tunnelling Division

This specialist group who supply the construction industry with a host of concrete products for civil engineering, residential and large scale construction schemes have a need for an experienced Estimator.

The role is seen as key to the organisation and will involve joining their specialist Tunnels and Shafts business. You will be working closely with the sales, contracts, engineering and production teams and taking on a role that offers great potential.
In the main the role will involve scoping, quantification and pricing on a range of tunnel solutions.

Additionally liaising with external contractors and suppliers and taking responsibility for value engineering, liaising with internal departments, architects, engineers and clients and producing quotations as well as follow up quotations. Taking responsibility for quantification of architectural and engineers drawings, costing labour, plant and materials and liaising with external contractors and suppliers.

For your part you will have experience within the precast concrete industry, pricing precast products as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and possess good ICT skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word (Auto CAD desirable, not essential). Additionally good attention to detail, as well as organisational skills with a high level of accuracy are seen as important.
