JFM offers a wide range of services, with over twenty five years in the provision of permanent, contract and interim staff from Graduates and Technicians to Director and Partner level in the UK and Overseas.

Search and Selection

We have the ability to access one of the largest and strongest database of candidates, based not only in the UK, but also overseas due to our significant time and expertise in the market place. Our candidates are accessed through our well managed system, Voyager which houses candidates coded by technical skill, industry sector and location.

Each consultant ensures the candidate is interviewed in person, an in depth meeting which touches on what is driving their move, where they are strongest and how they are able to add value to our client`s organisations. For us we find it key to offer job analysis and evaluation as well as person specification design and it critical to define competencies.

Through our database

We have the ability to access a database of a large number of candidates, based in the UK and overseas.

Executive Search

Search and selection, offering advertising on a confidential and known basis.  This is a refined form of recruitment focussing totally on the individual client and provides a positive approach by talking through their recruitment problems.

Specialist Headhunting

We ensure that all details and names are checked and vetted with the client firstly.  We use a specialist consultancy who is able to assist us in detailed searches and the identification of names of individuals.

Salary Surveys

We have an excellent knowledge of the market trends and because our business extends across the UK we are able to offer advice on a regional basis.

JFM is careful to listen to our candidates, only advising on positions that really suit your aspirations.  This is where we are particularly strong and because we employ individuals from the industry we have a real empathy with what our candidates need. Our service to our candidates includes:-

Your CV should highlight all of your relevant experience

With over thirty years` experience in the market place, our consultants are able to guide candidates into presenting a cv which truly reflects their experience, drivers and career aims.

  • We would always suggest the following approach:
  • Typically keep a cv to three pages maximum, if possible.
  • The structure of the cv should be such that all personal and educational details are featured on the first page along with a Profile. This should be followed by employment history and project experience accordingly.
  • Cvs should be kept as concise as is possible and relevant to particular positions you are applying for – your cv your highlight all of your relevant experience to the appointment in question.
  • Interviewing techniques and thorough guidelines and culture awareness of our clients.

We would always encourage our candidates to thoroughly research the company you are meeting with, this gives employers a good indicator of your suitability and interest in the particular role.

A quick review of your cv should always be made along with studying the job description in more detail and preparing yourself for questions that might be asked of you. JFM`s consultants know their clients so well that we are always on hand to offer added advice and support on what questions might come up.

When you get to the interview, be confident, making direct eye contact with a warm handshake and always ensure you get to your destination with time to spare.
Remain positive and engaging and don’t fall into the trap of giving answers you feel they may want to hear.

After your interview ensure you give feedback and understand what the client`s expressions are you of and remember there is always something you can add and improve on.
