This specialist area of the industry focusses on undertaking air quality and dust monitoring, analysis of air quality datasets, detailed dispersion modelling and environmental impact assessments on a wide range of projects. JFM has provided Engineers and Consultants within both consultancy and contracting environments – with a significant amount of work in the Middle East.

JFM has a strong association with all levels of architectural recruitment from Part I Graduates to RIBA/ARB qualified Architects across all sectors. It is helped further by our internal design team, which provides a valuable insight into the industry and has seen us support many clients of varying sizes including the likes of Norman Fosters, Building Design Partnership and NBBJ. Whatever your level or requirement – we are well placed to ensure your introduction is a lasting one – our relationships are lasting ones.

This area of Engineering has been a mainstay for the group and has seen the appointment of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers from the start of their careers to the pinnacle in some cases, taking on MD and Partner level positions, covering:- Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Pharmaceutial, Educational and Residential schemes. We have supported clients who include:- Aecom, Hoare Lea, McCann, MLM, Ramboll and Watermans.

JFM has introduced both permanent and contract bridge specialists across the world on some hugely challenging projects. We have recruited for clients across consultancy and contracting over many years within both the highways and rail sectors. We have worked with:- Network Rail, Mott MacDonald, MLM, Aecom and WSP. The roles have varied from bridge inspection, assessment and design along with project delivery.

Along with our strength in Architecture, so Building Structures has always be an area which JFM has championed, we have been the preferred supplier for many years across the UK and have sourced candidates with strong structural design, management and project delivery skills for a host of clients, including: Arup, WSP, BWB, Baker Hicks, Aecom and Buro Happold. We support clients from Graduate to Director level appointments and ensure that those candidates we introduce are fully briefed as to the expectations and rewards that await them. Our main focus has been within consultancy, although we have worked closely with contractors, developers and some local government organisations.

An area of continued expansion for our group, we have provided varying levels of skilled Ecologists to in the main our consultancy partners, including, Capita, Atkins and Buro Happold. We are able to tap into a range of opportunities that require some level of experience in ecology.

All aspects of environmental matters are covered, from waste management, air pollution, recycling, waste disposal, environmental sustainability and industrial hygiene for clients across the UK in the main. We work closely with multidisciplinary consultancies and specialist environmental practices and provide permanent and interim staff at all levels from entry to Partner level.

We have maintained a strong link with the Geology and Geotechnical sectors with a continual need for Geologists, Geotechnical Engineers and Earthworks and Piling Specialists who are able to provide both consultants and contractors with solutions to their challenging requirements.

Our highways knowledge is strong across major and minor highways schemes with clients continually returning to use our expertise for all levels of Engineers. More recently there has been a strong focus on the UK market with JFM introducing key members of staff to the likes of:- WSP, Arup and Highways England.

Our need for infrastructure specialists at all levels covering:- roads, drainage and planning is an ever growing one. We recruit from Technician to Engineer and Director levels and support our clients with a host of difficult to fill roles across the UK and Europe. The roles we take on our rewarding and most recent successes include work for:- Travis Baker, RPS, BWB and Aecom.

As our client`s remit changes, so we are able to support their needs across Project/Program and Change Management. Most of the appointments we assist with are within the consultancy arena, although we have worked closely with Warwickshire and Staffordshire County Council on some senior appointments on the Project and Change Management fronts.

From Permanent Way Engineers, Signalling Specialists and Overhead Line Engineers – JFM has worked with Operators, Consultants and Contractors. Our clients have included the likes of Network Rail, London Underground, Colas Rail and the mainstream consultancies. We offer advice to candidates on all level of positions and are well positioned to offer interim and permanent prospects.

Clean, Waste Water, Flood Allievation/Flood Risk Assessment, Drainage, Coastal and Ports – we manage all level and complexity of positions from our early days supporting the likes of DHV (later Royal Haskoning) and British Associated Ports to working with consultants and water companies, the likes of MWH, Southern Water, Severn Trent and WRc we have worked on senior and all level requirements on both interim and permanent roles.
