REGIONAL DIRECTOR

£100,000 plus exceptional benefits
This multidisciplinary practice with reach across the UK and internationally seek an
experienced Regional Director, who will provide commercial and operational leadership for
the region, ensuring strong financial performance, new business development, high-quality
project delivery and effective management of people and resources.
The role requires visible leadership with clients, staff and senior management, with
responsibility for developing future business opportunities, maintaining professional
standards, supporting collaboration across offices and disciplines ensuring that the
region contributes positively to the wider performance and reputation of the group.
Reporting to the Board Director – your focus will include:-
• Regional financial performance – accountable for delivering the regional budget and profit
targets, and managing risk.
• Regional business development – identifying new opportunities/clients and supporting key
client account growth within the region,
• Regional Growth – grow workloads and resources to exceed budget targets.
• Client relationship management – acting as the key contact for existing key regional clients
while developing new client relationships.
• People leadership and succession planning – develop future leaders, support staff
development, and maintain a strong pipeline of talent.
• Cross-functional collaboration – working with other Regional Directors and National
Service Line leads as One Team to deliver national objectives.
• External representation – promoting the business across the region through client
engagement, industry events and professional networks.
For your part you will be:-
• A collaborative team player, and effective people leader.
• Strong commercial and financial management, and business acumen, including budget
ownership, fee negotiation, cost control, invoicing, WIP, and profitability.
• Effective leadership of regional multidisciplinary teams, including delegation, mentoring,
performance management, recruitment and staff development.
• New business development and client relationship management, with the ability to identify
opportunities, secure repeat work and promote the group`s wider services.
• Project and technical oversight, ensuring quality, programme, risk, health and safety, and
IMS requirements are consistently met.
• Clear communication and reporting skills, including preparation of operational updates,
management reports and client-facing communications.
• Collaborative working across offices and disciplines to optimise resources, workload
sharing and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Lead large multi-disciplinary bids, or framework bids, as Bid Director
• Lead large multi-disciplinary projects, or frameworks, as Project/Framework Director
