As their business continues to grow nationally and internationally they are seeking to recruit experienced Archaeology Consultants across the Midlands and Home Counties.
These are exciting opportunities that offer superb prospects to travel internationally and become part of a hugely successful consultancy.
In more detail the roles will involve:-
- Provision of archaeology advice to internal and external clients.
- Cultural heritage inputs to EIA.
- Production of desk-based assessments and heritage statements.
- Preparation of Written Schemes of Investigation for archaeological fieldwork.
- Design of evaluation and mitigation, procurement and management of contractors.
For your part you will be as an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists, with experience of working for a multidisciplinary consultancy. You will have gained relevant experience in the preparation of desk-based assessments and heritage statements and cultural heritage inputs to EIA with a good understanding of relevant heritage legislation, policy and guidance. Additionally experience in providing cultural heritage inputs to EIA, including the assessment of the significance of heritage assets, including the contribution made by setting to that significance, and of magnitude and significance of effect.
You will have the ability to identify effective mitigation and possess excellent report writing skills with a flexible approach to work and GIS skills.
