Design Engineer

An interesting prospect awaits an Engineer/Technician for our client in the Midlands who provide specialist services to the construction industry across reinforced concrete and a range of products.

We are seeking an Engineer who will provide design calculations using in house design software, prepare product layout and manufacturing details. You will be joining a team of dedicated Engineers who offer great mentoring and a hugely successful workload to engage on.

For your part you will possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD, as well as experience in detailing and designing reinforced concrete with a working knowledge of BS 8110 7 EC2. Additionally good communication skills and have a minimum of a HNC in Engineering, although industry experience is seen as more important.

You will be given training and the full support to continue your studies, but more importantly to develop your career further, as well as the opportunity to potentially travel with the organisation within Europe initially.
